This storage bed requires only a mattress (not included) and can be
used alone or combined with other bedroom storage furniture like the
bookcase style Headboard and Cubbie Bench. Six drawers (3 per side) run
smoothly on metal roller glides and open easily with finger-pulls located
on the bottom of the drawer fronts instead of handles. This design
provides a clean look while ensuring your bed clothes don’t catch on the
drawers.
This King
Size Platform Storage Bed frame can be used with standard King size
mattresses. If you use an 8" thick mattress, the overall bed height
will be 21" at the top of the mattress.
It
is shipped flat packed in 3 boxes and assembly is
required. Usually, you should allow between 45 minutes to 2
hours depending on your skill level and help. These beds are extremely
well packaged, easy to assemble and can be shipped directly to your door.
The bed is mainly constructed of laminated composite woods and solid wood
slats with metal supports and high quality hardware. Wood slats positioned
lengthwise distribute body weight evenly and minimize the amount of motion
transfer and take the place of a box-spring. Metal braces under the slats provide
additional stability.
