It offers point-and-shoot simplicity combined with advanced exposure
control. The camera uses Fujifilm's Super CCD HR with 3.14 MP effective
resolution, to deliver high-quality images with clear, natural colors and
life-like details. Featuring a long 10X optical zoom lens, it also offers
a digital zoom up to 2.2X in 1280x960-pixel mode to help you capture finer
details of your subjects. The FinePix S5000 provides continuous auto
focusing and a low light focus assist lamp for clicking pictures with
ease. You can record digital movies with sound at QVGA resolution (at 30
fps) with its Movie recording feature, and save them on the included 16 MB
xD-Picture Card at up to 320x240 pixels resolution. It allows you to
playback single frames at a maximum of 18X playback zoom and even supports
9 multi-frame playbacks. The camera’s user-friendly electronic
viewfinder provides you with a through-the-lens preview of the scene, thus
enabling you to take great pictures. With this digital camera, you can
easily establish a USB computer connection while the included FinePix
Viewer 4.1 software makes transfer of image and video files a breeze. It
also offers special and continuous shooting modes, as well as a powerful
flash to enable you to customize the exact look you want.
