The Eiffel Tower
Phone
Crosley's authentically styled replica pays
homage to the famous Eiffel Tower phone created in Stockholm Sweden by L.
M. Ericsson from 1892 to 1929. This masterpiece was appropriately coveted
across Europe, but so widely adored that it traversed oceans and
continents to share its beauty with all those who romantically treasured
it's design. Over a million were sold during the 37-year period they were
produced. It has been dubbed the “Skeleton Phone" due to its open
concept design where all components can be outwardly seen. Although its
name requires little explanation, it is important to note the unique lines
and detailed stylings that remind one of the famous Paris landmark. We've
even gone so far as to add a fully functional crank complete with magento
bell sound.

The Candlestick Phone
The Candlestick phone, also
known as the ‘Upright' initially became popular during the early 1900s
before the introduction of the one-piece handset. The first Candlestick
phones were introduced when the magneto system was in use, which meant
that the phone was connected to a large wooden box called a
"subset" containing a battery, bell, and crank. But oh have we
come a long way. From its bell-shaped mouthpiece to its cloth covered
receiver cord, this telephone replica recalls a vintage instrument from
the 1900s. But a closer look reveals some modern technology including a
decorative dial that functions as a push button for tone/pulse operation
as well as a center medallion that serves as a redial button. This modern
day version of the Candlestick Phone would have surely made Alexander
Graham Bell proud.

The Viscount
Phone
Thomas Edison called the telephone an
invention that “annihilated time and space and brought the human family
in closer touch." It's truly amazing to think how the invention of
the phone forever changed the way the world interacts. Crosley's Viscount
Telephone is an amazing example of the gradual evolution the telephone
made from function to form. The detailed stylings incorporate a beautiful
handset, intricate metalwork, brushed brass accents and a generous dose of
nostalgia.
